A Note from Shashank Sirivolu:

I write and publish every article in The Martian Passage using eleven different aliases for two reasons:

1.     I believe that content set in the future is more effective if it is disassociated from any present-day writers.

2.     The purpose of The Passage is not to generate individual recognition. The publication’s purpose is to broaden our understanding by providing an account of the future.

Every alias has a distinct background, personality, and writing style. Some of them live on Mars, some live on Earth.
